Empowering Women In More Than Just Coffee

Penny and Indiana

This is Indy's Granny, Penny, and Floozy supporter from way back - you can tell by her OG Floozy shirt. This lady is all about female empowerment in the fashion industry and has built an amazing social enterprise in India to create a safe workplace for poor, uneducated women, providing a fair, secure income. We've partnered with her to provide a perk for her crowd funding campaign so that they can do even more for these women.

In Floozy we are thoughtful of our coffee supply chain and doing our all to ensure that exploitation isn't occurring along the way. We recognise that we must also practice this in other areas; Penny is our role model in the area of "who made my clothes?". The fashion industry can be particularly worrying, with people disposing of their fast fashion as quickly and easily as they do takeaway cups. Penny and the team in India partner with some gorgeous designers who are paving the way in ethical fashion, some have also provided perks for the campaign.
